TJ Style acts as the data controller for the personal data described in this notice, which means we determine how and why your personal data is processed. We only process data that is strictly necessary to build your personalized style profiles, outfits, and daily looks. This includes:

• Account Information: Email address and authentication details provided during registration.
• Styling Data: Your user-submitted clothing sizes, specific body measurements, uploaded wardrobe photos, and style history.
• Support Communications: Messages you send to us when requesting help or exercising your rights.
• Usage Data: Standard analytics regarding app interactions, device identifiers and IP address, used to secure and improve the application's performance.

Payment-related data (card numbers and billing details) is collected directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and not by TJ Style. See section 4 for details.

2. Purposes and Legal Basis

We process your personal data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

• Providing the service — creating your account, generating styling recommendations, and storing your wardrobe (legal basis: performance of a contract with you).
• Security and fraud prevention — protecting your account, isolating data per account, and auditing administrative actions (legal basis: our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure).
• Product improvement — understanding how the app is used to improve performance and features (legal basis: our legitimate interests, or your consent where required).
• Customer support — responding to your questions and requests (legal basis: performance of a contract and legitimate interests).
• Legal obligations — where we must retain or disclose data to comply with applicable law.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your privacy is our priority.

• All user data, wardrobe photos, and style histories are securely hosted within the European Union (EU) in strict compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
• We implement advanced isolation measures per account using strict row-level security protocols.
• Every administrative action regarding user data is logged on an immutable, secure audit log protected by two-factor authentication.
• We apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures, including encryption in transit and access controls.
• We never sell, rent, lease, or share your personal data, sizes, or wardrobe photos with third-party brands, advertisers, or networks.

Your closet scans are fully protected under GDPR regulations, meaning your data is securely hosted in the EU, never sold, and completely under your control.

4. Who We Share Data With

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed:

• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, analytics, and support tooling providers that process data on our behalf under contract.
• Paddle (Merchant of Record) — when you make a purchase, your order is processed by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle receives the data needed to complete the sale, manage your subscription, process payments, handle tax compliance and invoicing, and provide buyer support. Paddle acts as an independent controller for that processing; see Paddle's privacy policy at paddle.com for details.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where disclosure is required by law.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Rights

We keep your personal data only for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, accounting or reporting obligations. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised. You retain complete ownership over your information. You have the right to:

• Access or export your saved information at any time.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Permanently delete your account and all associated wardrobe history directly from your account dashboard.
• Request restriction of, or object to, certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. We respond to rights requests within one month.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies required to operate the service (for example, keeping you signed in). Where analytics or marketing cookies are used, you can manage your preferences through your browser settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal details or data from children.
